Back to Monday already and back to another working week.
I've had the laziest weekend and I've loved every bit of it. Friday night me and OG shared a meal at my house with a bottle of champagne (his valentines prezzie from me)
Saturday morning we did a small amount of shopping and met friends for dinner. Thenwe spent Saturday evening at home, my mum cooked curry for us, my sister and her husband, which we followed with donuts and 60% gin!!!! So basically I've eaten lots, looks like the holiday diets well and truly out of the window and with only 6 weeks to go eekkk!!!
To get back into work I thought I'd share with you a few work outfits.
I wore this pencil skirt a few weeks ago for a night out and since then I've worn it with 3 different tops for work looks. I like to wear the same clothes for work and play but I'd say these are typical work outfits and not what I would wear for a day/night out.
Firstly I paired it with this green Primark top and a silver tree necklace from the Clothes Show.
Secondly I wore it with a simple New Look pink vest and Dorothy Perkins watermelon necklace. Pink isn't normally my colours but I can cope with this small amount.
Lastly I wore it with this Primark t-shirt. I think I prefer the skirt with a patterned tee, brings a bit more interest to the outfit, but this was also a practical outfit, I wore this on a day I had belly dancing after work. The top tucked in is quite long so all I had to do to get ready for belly dancing is to throw on some leggings and remove my skirt, that's what I call lazy girl fashion.
Photos also taken in my work toilets....classy stuff!
So which outfit do you prefer? and how would you style a pencil skirt?
Exciting evening tonight, the Leeds festival line up is been announced.........I'm struggling to get on the website but so far I've discovered, via Facebook, that Kasabian, Foo Fighters and The Cure are headlining, sounds like it might be a good one!
