Runaway

Bon Jovi - Runaway

On Sunday I went to see the Olympic torch in Leeds.
I had a choice between going to see it in Huddersfield at 11am and then to a party in the park aimed at kids (face painting etc) or I could make my way to Leeds and see the torch at around 7:30pm but see a few bands etc whilst waiting, obviously we picked Leeds.

The event started at 1pm but we didn't want to go for the whole day so we headed over at about 3pm. We got there just in time to see Little Comets, who I love!!!
They were followed by Twist & Pules and Diversity both of which were nice surprises, I only knew about the bands been on prior to arriving.

We got a spot to see the torch at about 6:30, before it arrived on stage we were entertained by acrobats and musicians, creating music with sporting sounds which was fab!

I love the sense of community that events like this bring and I feel safe in saying a great time was had by all. I would recommend going to see the torch pass if it's still to come by you.

So here's what I wore.

Dress, ASOS.
Belt, Dorothy Perkins.
Necklace, later worn as a bracelet, Primark.
Scarf, in hair, later worn around neck, Primark.
Flower ring, Boot & Tights, Primark.
Rain coat, Tesco. From £25 to £12.
Heart ring, Accessorize.

It was quite a plesent day, the sun was out but there was a quite strong wind which kept making my eyes watering....never too cold for an ice cream though.

And a quick photo of me and OG.

Enjoy your evening!
